Frequently Asked Questions
What insurances do you accept?
None. We operate as a Direct Primary Care practice, offering personalized healthcare services for a flat monthly fee—no billing or insurance involved.
Are there copays for office visits?
There are no copays for office visits.
Is Direct Primary Care the same as Concierge Medicine?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a low-cost, insurance-free model where patients pay a flat monthly fee for unlimited access to basic primary care services. Concierge medicine also offers personalized care and extended access but typically charges a higher fee and still bills insurance or Medicare. While both prioritize patient access and longer visits, DPC focuses on affordability and simplicity, whereas concierge medicine caters to those seeking premium, often luxury, care.
What services do you offer?
I focus on providiving comprehensive healthcare for people of all ages, from ages 3 year old to seniors. It focuses on building long-term relationships and treating the whole person—body, mind, and lifestyle—rather than just specific conditions. As a full-spectrum provider, I offer care across all life stages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, women's health, pediatrics, and minor procedures.
What does the membership fee cover?
The fee covers excellent primary care through office visits with no copay. This includes the following: annual wellness exams, sports physicals, school physicals, chronic care office visits, follow-up visits, basic office procedures and treatment of acute illness or minor injuries, all with minimal wait times in the office. The fee also covers direct communications with your doctor: phone, text, video chat or email.
What medical conditions do you care for?
We treat all kinds of common everyday problems like colds, flu, strep, rashes and injuries. We also treat more complicated long term medical problems like adult diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and thyroid disorder.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
I focus on evidence-based care and do not prescribe long-term or chronic controlled medications. When such medications are needed, I work with patients to explore safer, more sustainable treatment options tailored to their individual needs.
